Good Practice Workshop "Choosing and using context indicators for Rural Development"

Lisbon, 15-16 November 2012

As a contribution to defining the list of common context indicators for inclusion in the implementing rules, it is appropriate to reflect on their use for RDP design and subsequent evaluation and to identify the challenges in applying them.
Objective

  • Develop understanding of how context indicators are used during the SWOT and needs assessment to set a proper basis for the RDP;
  • Share good practices about how context indicators have been used in the SWOT of then current period;
  • Draw practical conclusions on the use of context indicators for the preparation phase of RDPs 2014-2020 and the ex ante evaluation.
