Forest energy and private forests cooperation

 The Estonian National Rural Network in collaboration with the Foundation Estonian Private Forest Centre and Estonian Private Forest Union are organising a two day event on forest energy and private forests cooperation - working group meeting, study tour and conference.
Event will be held on September 13-14, 2012 in Jäneda, Estonia.
Event consists of three parts:
1) A workshop on forest owners' cooperation and the EU rural development policy - supported by the ENRD forestry initiative, on 13th of September
2) Study tour on 13th of September
3) Conference „Wood for Energy" on 14th of September (Cancelled)
 
The workshop on forest owners' cooperation will cover topics about forestry cooperatives and there will be held discussions about update of the state of play of discussions about forestry measures of RDP post 2013. The workshop and conference will take place in Rural Economy Research Centre www.maainfo.ee in Jäneda where the Estonian Rural Network Unit is located. Jäneda is situated about 70 kilometres from Tallinn to South-East direction. Transfers from Tallinn Airport and Port of Tallinn will be organised by hosts.
The seminar, conference and the study trip are free of charge. Travel costs, accommodation and meals are not included and will be participants' own expense.
