CAP: new challenges for 2007 -2013

Thanks to the CAP 2008-2009 revision process, the EU funds for Italian Rural Development Programs increased up to EUR 693,77 million, thus leading to an increase in public expenditure equal to nearly EUR 1,123.27 million.  
These new resources led to a revision of the above mentioned programs through a complex procedures and partnership process at a National level together with the European Commission, which ended up in 2009.
The NRN, supporting the Ministry of Agriculture (MIPAAF) and the regional RDPs Managing Authorities, carried out this study after the CAP analysis and revision process that has developed throughout the whole 2008 and 2009.
The present research gives a detailed description of the main steps characterizing NSP update and the following RDPs reprogramming, analyzing, in addition, the financial implications and the Regions' actions and measures in the new challenges and broadband framework.
