Rural areas leading fight against climate changes

The public consultation of Italian position document referred to International climate policies negotiations closed on last November 9. The related draft of this document was presented during the NRN meeting held in Rome on October 29th, 2009 on "Agriculture, forests and climate change - the rural system contribution in view of the following Copenhagen Protocol on the important role agri-forestry sector can play in the post Kyoto" and the whole document was published on the Rural Network website forum www.reterurale.it. Thanks to this consultation, observations from all interested private and public stakeholders, collected and included in the present document, have been forwarded to the Ministry for the Environment.
