International Conference "Leading the Way - Communities 2020"

Local Action Group (LAG) PLANED is organising in conjunction with Welsh Government and ENRD an international conference, titled: ''Leading the Way - Communities 2020" to share with a wide audience not only its experiences in Pembrokeshire but to show case the LEADER experience, internationally.
The event will be held in the traditional seaside resort of Tenby, with its gorgeous Georgian harbour. The medieval town is a maze of narrow streets crammed with historic interest and the accommodation is located on the sea front overlooking Caldey Island, one of Britain's holy islands.
The programme offers an opportunity to hear presentations from a wide range of speakers, with Petri Rinne, president of ELARD leading the event.  Delegates will also be offered the opportunity to attend participatory workshops to experience 'hands on' the PLANED way of working in community led local development. The conference and workshops will be conducted in English.
