In vista di EXPO 2015, che pone al centro dell'attenzione mondiale il tema di "Nutrire il Pianeta, Energia per la Vita", l'Italia propone un momento di approfondimento sul tema della contraffazione agroalimentare, organizzato dal Ministero delle politiche agricole alimentari e forestali.
La contraffazione del Cibo è uno dei reati economici che, oltre a danneggiare profondamente l'economia europea ed a rappresentare un grave pericolo per la salute e la sicurezza del consumatore, mina alla radice la fiducia del cittadini perché "ruba" l'identità al Cibo.
Il Forum internazionale vuole essere un'occasione preziosa per condividere esperienze, valori ed energie a livello europeo e mondiale, su un tema che riguarda tutti gli abitanti del Pianeta e sarà articolato in 3 aree tematiche:
1) Cooperazione delle Forze di Polizia nella lotta alla contraffazione
agroalimentare - OPSON;
2) Collaborazione tra le Autorità "ex officio" dell'UE per la tutela
dei prodotti a DOP e IGP;
3) Contrasto alla contraffazione agroalimentare sul web.
In view of EXPO 2015, which will put at the center of the world attention the theme of "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", Italy offers a chance for a deep reflection on the issue of food counterfeiting, organized by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies.
Food counterfeiting is one of the economic crimes that, besides damaging deeply the European economy and representing a serious danger for the health and safety of the consumer, undermines the confidence of the citizens by "stealing" the identity of Food.
The International Forum will be a valuable opportunity to share experiences, values and energies at European level and worldwide, on an issue that concerns all the inhabitants of the planet and will be divided into three thematic areas:
1) Cooperation of Police Forces in fighting counterfeit food - OPSON;
2) Collaboration between "exofficio" Authorities of the EU for the protection
of the POD and PGI products;
3) Contrast against counterfeit food on the web.
