SAVE THE DATE LEADER Seminar 15 - 17th October LEADER: Acting locally in a changing world
The ENRD Contact Point in partnership with the Austrian Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism, the Austrian National Rural Network and LAG nordburgenland plus is jointly hosting a seminar for LEADER LAGs, Managing Authorities and National Rural Networks.
This seminar will focus on the role of LEADER, where and how it is adding value and delivering something distinctive. The event will consider how the LEADER approach can be used to address new challenges and opportunities, both currently and within post 2020 policy. It will demonstrate how LAGs acting locally are contributing towards various wider societal challenges and priorities such as climate change, the potential of the bioeconomy, rural urban links, social enterprise, youth participation etc.
The seminar will take place in Rust, North East Austria between the 15th and 17th October 2018, the programme will involve study trips, the presentation of practical examples, keynote presentations and working groups. Participation will be limited to 150 delegates and will therefore involve a selection process.
