On 3 th November, the Union of Italian Provinces, UPI, in collaboration with the National Rural Network and the UPI-TECLA will organize an Info Day concerning the "Rural Policy in Italy" .
The Infoday is aimed to present to the Italian Provinces  administrators and managers, the results of OECD analysis: "Strategies for the future rural world"  commissioned by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural and released on 24th  June 2009.
The OECD analysis involved also the European Commission itself in a debate on the direction of EU policies after 2013.  
The event comes as part of activities under the Memorandum of Understanding signed last June between the UPI and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
This Memorandum  is focused  to strengthen the collaboration between the UPI and Ministry of Agriculture in order to reach a more efficient local governance on rural development and to emphasize  the  Provinces' role, based on a link with the local communities.
