Leader Group in Pays du Mans, Terres en Villes region, France will host a seminar entitled "Between town/urban area and countryside: local projects and European Cooperation?".
The event will be held on December 3rd and 4th 2009 and aims at bringing together peri-urban participants from across Europe to exchange experience and find partners for transnational actions on peri-urban topics.
This is also an opportunity to get the local stakeholders together with a wide range of policy makers and politicians.
Up to 250 delegates are supposed to attend the seminar in question, including members of Local Action Groups, potential project developers/participants and representatives of local, regional and European government and non-governmental bodies with an interest in peri-urban activities.
